iABC Gaining Technological and Diplomatic Benefits by Signing an International Academic and Industrial Cooperation Project with Bank of Marshall Islands

iABC has succeeded in bringing in Bank of Marshall Islands to become a member of the consortium. Based on the project, iABC will provide the bank with R&D results from the Big Data Research and Development Center of Asia University, allowing for international academic and industrial  cooperation and technological transfer, and, through education and training, making stronger ties with Republic of the Marshall Islands.

While most traditional banks are favorable to the next generation financial services, the development of the technology is still at an early stage. iABC is currently in collaboration with Bank of Marshall Islands of Republic of Marshall Islands, a Pacific Island country with diplomatic ties with Taiwan, assisting the bank to maximize the value of its data use by way of big data and cloud techniques. Each Individual client’s financial flows can be analyzed, predicted and simulated by tests and categorizing credit ratings to help create a new credit analysis system. Furthermore, data visualization system will be blended in to assist the bank to have a 360º panorama observation of each client, putting together demographic information, transaction history, loan repayment capacity, and external information to construct a unique, comprehensive client profile.

Besides bringing in Bank of Marshall Islands to become a member of the consortium,  iABC also provides the bank with R&D results from the Big Data Research and Development Center of Asia University, allowing for international academic and industrial cooperation and technological transfer. The big data analysis technique is introduced to help increase lending efficiency and decrease lending risks for the bank. In this particular case, iABC takes a complementary approach, using the techniques from both Asia University and corporate members to export the academic research and development results, and, through education and training, making stronger ties with Republic of the Marshall Islands.
